Nothing is certain in life besides death and taxes!

So today I went and got my taxes done and realized how the government has screwed me over.  We work so hard to find better paying jobs and get taxed double because we are in higher tax bracket?  So instead of getting a refund this year I have to pay back the government.  Not like they don't tax me a lot through out the whole year because I'm single, have no kids and no deductions!

Girl! Tell me about it, I know exactly how you feel. Some times I think it's better to be completely broke, especially when we have such a generous Uncle Sam! Heck they're renting prime Chelsea apartments for $800 in NYC.

i'm scared to do my taxes cuz i'm pretty sure i owe money to my favorite uncle too. you need to get married, have some kids and buy a house... not necessarily in that order tho.

Actually taxes are relatively low, if you look at it in historical terms, or compared to other countries. It's just the cost of living is high, due to the inflationary measures that the government uses to balance the budget (printing tons of money out of thin air, devaluing our money). Just start up your own small business from home, and write off everything. =)
